We strive to produce functional, attractive and innovative products to support and enhance wildlife habitat or mitigate conflict. All our products are made in Canada, by Canadian craftsmen, with Canadian-sourced materials. We can work with you on custom solutions to meet your project's demands. Bats
Bat Box - This three-chambered bat box design excels when mounted to existing buildings, but can be instlalled on posts or trees. The large size and three chambers provide ample space to support a maternity colony. A mounting bracket ensures safe, secure and simplified installation.
Bat Rocket Box - Free-standing, post-mounted, two-chambered bat houses are an ideal solution for enhancing bat roosting where no structures exist. Their large size and four-sided design provide a broad array of internal temperatures that has been shown to help maintain preferential roosting temperatures during the maternity season. Bat rocket boxes include a post assembly, mounting base, the box and the associated hardware. The post assembly allows the box to be raised and lowered as needed. Required tools, equipment and concrete are not included.
Post Mounted Guano Trap - The Guano trap is designed to work with our Bat Rocket box and is useful for activity monitoring and sample collection.
Woodpecker Shield - Constructed of sheet metal, this product is designed to protect the exterior of our Bat Rocket boxes from woodpecker damage. Our ventilated woodpecker shield creates an additional chamber around the exterior of the box that acts like a screened porch. The shield can be installed during rocket box installation or even after a structure has been installed.
Birds
Nest Boxes - We offer a full suite of nest boxes, built of rough sawn, untreated lumber. All of our designs are specific to certain species of cavity-nesting birds and should be installed in suitable habitat for the intended species. Barn Swallow Nest Cups - Nest cups can be placed in or on other structures and provide a partially constructed nesting location for Barn Swallows. They often mud the top and line them with bedding materials, saving significant time and energy spent nest building. Additionally, these can be used to help establish nesting in preferential areas to help reduce conflicts.
Predator Guards - We offer a full suite of predator guards for our post-mounted nest box products, which can eliminate issues with land-based predators accessing the nesting box. These are designed to work with our specific nest box products and posts. Various styles include folded sheet metal guards, stovepipe guards and hole protectors.
Posts - Our posts are designed to support free-standing nesting boxes and work in conjunction with our predator guards.
Turtles
Portable Nest Protectors - Temporary nest protection structures are designed to be placed over a known turtle nest, once it has been laid. This protects the nest from mammalian predators that often make quick work of turtle nests. The protectors are generally left in place for the remainder of the year and removed post emergence, the following year. These are very easy to install and significantly increase the odds of nesting success. Sold in packages of four, but can accommodate larger orders.
Nesting Bed Protection System - A novel method for protecting known turtle nesting beds, this fencing system is designed to exclude and deter mammalian predators from accessing larger areas where turtles return annually to nest. It uses a solar-powered energizer in conjunction with an adjustable fencing design to exclude predators while allowing unimpeded access for turtles. This can be adjusted at any time to include nests that are laid outside of the protected area. Customizable for the required space, large or small. Simple and straightforward installation, maintenance and adjustment.
Reclaimed Creations
Using reclaimed lumber, off-cuts and leftovers from other projects, we occasionally make small batches of fly fishing and tying products as well as some game calls. See what we have created, what is available for purchase, or contact us if you are interested in a custom creation.

Fishing
Flies - We will occasionally release some limited collections of hand-tied flies here.
Nets - See some of our past landing nets here. While we don't make a lot of them, they’re always a labour of love. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have an interest in a custom landing net – they are expertly hand-crafted and a joy to use.
Flyboxes - Occasionally we come across some wood that is too figured for our projects but excels in its visual appeal, and can be turned into very cool wooden fly boxes.
Laptop Vice Platforms - A pedestal vice and a fly-tying bench all in one. It holds your tools and materials, and lets you sit and tie where you like. Spool, tool and magnetized hook holders, works with any vice stem.
